Created by Jeff Meredith from his passion for nostalgia and performance. Building bicycles with hot rod inspired parts, and craftsmanship that harkens back to the glory days of Route 66 mixed with Jet-Age technology. The name BOXKARS is a kustomized version of “boxcars”; slang for rolling a pair of 6’s in dice. The logo is a visual tribute to the mother road, Route 66.

For anyone shopping with us over the last 6 years, I hope you noticed that our prices never changed. Unfortunately, inflation has driven up costs too far to leave them alone, so reluctantly, we had to increase prices to keep this thing going.
On the bright side, we just added some new clamp sizes: 5/8" [16mm] and 3/4" [19mm] low profile clamps.
As always we appreciate your business and support.

It's been a while, but we've been busy. The latest project is a new index plate to cover Sturmey Archer's newer rotary shift hubs (3, 4, and 5 speeds). Step one was testing the most accurate factory shifters (the all metal thumbies) with our improved test rig. Now we're ready to order parts, so watch for more hub choices on the website soon!
