I’ve been a creative my entire life. I’ve taken photos for decades, and began painting more recently. I am so glad you are here with me.
I enjoy documenting the world around me in a variety of medium, photography, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and oil.

Some fun play I’ve been doing in my watercolor sketchbook. And a quick pastel sketch. Just a couple examples of the inspiration I brought home from the convention. Not plein air, but definitely enjoying the mediums I haven’t played with in a while.

PACE 2026 was an incredible experience, exhausting, but so good! Surrounded and inspired by incredible artists, paint outs in gorgeous locations, connecting with online friends in real life! Truly grateful for the “anniversary” gift I gave myself on behalf of my loving wife.
Since I’ve been home I’ve felt inspired to work in mediums I haven’t touched in a while, including my first ever soft pastel landscape. There will be more!
Here are some photos from the experience. Plein air is a completely different vibe than studio painting - there will also be more of this! But first a nap and then I repack my kit so it’s not 60+lbs being lugged around on my back!

Streamside Sycamore has been waiting for me for a while now, but today was her day!
As Spring Break wraps up for our families, so did my spring break inspired series.
This collection will be available on my site beginning Monday, but if something speaks to you don’t wait!
I had so much fun painting these, exploring bold color and mixing main characters of the Octopus and Manatee with the landscapes and landmarks of Florida. I can’t decide on my personal favorite.
How about you?
Which is your favorite? Let me know in the comments.

My Florida-inspired spring break series is now complete. Full of color and movement, it invites you to embark on your own journey, bask in the warmth of the sun, breathe in the salty ocean air, and unwind as if you were spending a day by the sea. The series will be available for purchase on my website on Monday.
The manatee is already spoken for, but if another painting in the collection speaks to you contact me directly for details.

And then there were five. At least two more to go before I finish my Spring Break! Maybe three….we will know soon.

Looking back over 2025 at the evolution of my creative expression and I thought this might explain the name change of this page.
Here are some of my favorites. Stained glass, acrylic, watercolor and photography. 2025 has been a good year for learning new medium and applying long held skills in new ways.
I can’t wait to see the evolution of my style in 2026.

One of my favorite families invited me to take new photos for them this past weekend. Thanks Nick and Krissy. Gavin is the best!

It’s senior photo time - and I’ve been working on getting two session edited. Here’s the first with another fast on its heals. Both turned out great - but when you are working with beautiful 17 year olds they make it really easy on the photographer!

Ella's senior session was so much fun! It's the best when you get to photograph a young adult who exudes confidence, style and grace - who you have known since the day they were born! Go get 'em Ella - the world is yours! Jeniffer Stump
