BIG NEWS y'all- we are moving through the process of making Snip & Tuck into a non-profit organization, which will enable us to apply for grants and funding not previously available to us, as well as access additional discounts on products so we can expand our offerings while keeping costs low for the community! 🎉🥳

As a reminder, Rabies vaccines are FREE with any surgery, and we have DAPP (dogs)/FVRCP (cats) and Bordetella (dogs) vaccines available as well if your pet needs it!

Easy-they are the necessary components to keep this tired mama veterinarian going on the journey to care for the pets and people of the community! 😅😴💤

So even if you don’t see me (Dr. Jordy) personally on a surgery day, just know I’m here, hustling and dreaming how we can grow and better serve YOU!! 😊

Yesterday my team busted out 17 surgeries (12 of those being spays!) so cheers to less “littering” in the community 🎉 resulting in animal suffering and euthanasia! 💕🐾

Did you know that at Snip & Tuck, we do not automatically turn away patients that have tested positive for heartworms?? ❤️🪱

Heartworm positive pets will get a pre-surgical exam like all of our patients and as long as there are no other health concerns that would contribute to anesthetic complications, they are good to go! 👍🏻

It’s also important that they get on a monthly preventive that kills the stage of heartworms that can be picked up by mosquitoes and transferred to other animals. 🐕‍🦺➡️🦟➡️🦮

We also offer heartworm testing for our surgery patients, and every pet we alter is eligible for up to a year of prescription heartworm/flea/tick/deworming medication- of YOUR choice! 💊🦟
