SLIGHT ADJUSTMENTS FOR TONIGHT. Details below...

It's going to be a great night at Macon Speedway tonight, full of racing action plus CEFCU Kids Club from 5:30-7:00 for kids 11 and under.

To ensure that we give ourselves the best chance to complete the full program tonight, we have moved the Spectator Drags to Saturday, May 20. Those who were signed up for tonight will have first chance to remain in the lineup for that event.

As most of you know, Mother Nature has been sort of kind this year. By sort of, we mean she has brought rain between 8:30 and 9:00 the last two race nights. We completed the program a couple weeks ago but this past weekend we had to postpone two features to tonight.

Tonight's forecast is improving and looks like rain no sooner than 10 pm. If that's the case, we should be in great shape but we don't want to take any chances. That's why we have moved Spectator Drags to May 20th and will try to inch tonight's program a little earlier.

The plan will be drivers meeting at 5:30 with hotlaps/qualifying at 5:45, and racing to follow. Come out to the track a little earlier as racing could see it's first green flag before 6:30.

Here is our tentative schedule with approximate times for tonight. Bring the family for a great night at the track!

Spectator Drag Signup now open...

The evening’s special presentation will be at intermission when fans will get a chance to compete on track in the first edition of Spectator Drags this season. Macon Speedway officials are only accepting eight entries of those who would like to race their street legal vehicle on the racetrack in a bracket style tourney at intermission. There is no charge to compete and six spots remain. To enter, call the office at 217-764-3000.
