Today is National Fentanyl Awareness Day. While overdose deaths are down from record highs, too many young lives are still at risk from fake prescription pills that are often indistinguishable from real ones and are made with fentanyl. Visit fentanylawarenessday.org to learn how you can protect your community and save lives.

We enjoyed ourselves this weekend at Movie Night at Decatur High right before spring break. Over 200 students came out, grabbed their glow bracelets, and just had a good time. We also picked up a few new YAT members along the way.

National DEA Take Back Day is Saturday, April 25.

Unused or expired medications don’t need to stay in your home. They don’t need to end up somewhere they shouldn’t either.

Stop by:
📍 City of Decatur Police Department
420 West Trinity Place
🗓 Saturday, April 25
⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM

Drop them off. No questions. Just a simple way to clear things out safely.

Small actions. Real impact.

It seems like everyone is talking about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is going to impact us. Let's get together to learn more about how it will impact our kids and critical thinking. AI Expert Dr. Tyler Cook from Emory University will help us deepen our understanding of AI, learn more about its risks and solutions, and explore how AI impacts education, safety, and mental health. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session for participants' questions and concerns. Please register at https://qrco.de/SpeakerSeriesDecatur
