👀 Sometimes we get asked, “What do your steaks REALLY look like?”
Well, sometimes the butcher cuts us 2lb 🐂Ribeyes…😱 But they always have the great marbling we’re proud of and that one-of-kind flavor that keeps people waiting for us to restock!

We don’t graze our cows on just whatever land available, they graze on our consistent award-winning Oates Hay and grass.
ALL of our cows are grazed on our Family ranch, where they graze high-quality, high-protein, fertilized, horse-quality hay!! We supplement our grazing cows with our own Baleage, then finish our meat steers on a proprietary grain ration for 90-120 days before slaughter, to give you that sweet, rich flavor that we have become known for 👍🏻
ALL of our cows are bred and raised here, in Decatur on our ranch, to our mama cows - We don’t buy any other animals to “feed out”…This is why sometimes there is a wait for our beef ❤️ IYKYK - Our beef is worth the wait!

Happy Saturday everyone!! Wanted to get the word out that we will be completely restocked the first week in September!!!

This was part of a push notification I received in my Costco app TODAY.
They’re having an online sale on their NY Strip box. At first glance seems like a deal… 12 of their 10oz Strips for $149.99. It says right there $20 per pound!!! But where is it coming from, how are the steers raised and what are they fed?
WHAT ARE YOU ACTUALLY EATING???
Well, Oates Cattle Ranch beef is local, here in Decatur, on a generational ranch, by people who know cattle. Grass-fed on our land, and grain-finished, with a ration that we choose and know what it contains.
And guess what?? Our NY Strips are $16.50 / lb!!!! Oh and ours average 13oz each.
You don’t need to be a math whiz to know our steaks are a much better deal-price wise AND quality ❤️
Ours vs theirs…. That’s an easy choice!

The wait for our mouth-watering beef is almost over! We will be fully restocked around the end of August-First week of September.
