With so much concern about the rate increases in this market shift, we have to get creative with financing.

are back and in full force! But what is a Buydown? There are two different types, a 2-1 Buydown and a Permanent Buydown.

A 2-1 Buydown has a rate escalation for two years. It’s 2% lower the first year, 1% lower the second year, and then the 3rd year it’s fixed for the remaining term.

A Permanent Buydown is fixed for ALL 30 years. It’s lower the entire term and costs the same as a 2-1 Buydown.

When lower interest rates come back, you can refinance your loan. Call us with any questions you may have.

Today’s housing market is nothing like 2008. Back then, it was much easier to get a home loan than it is now. Buyers today face tighter lending standards, which is one reason why it’s unlikely will see a wave of foreclosures like we did the last time.
