Hey y'all, it's been a while, but we're still alive and kickin'! One of our most recent tournaments, the Turkey Bowl Classic last weekend, we saw the highest weights we've seen so far in Steve Dobbs' HOLD'em HOOK Catfish Trail. Brian Meares and Michael Clark had one of their best days of fishing on Wheeler, and even more so for a tournament. They caught 20, yes 20, fish overall including 8 overs! Their best 5 weighed in at 169.3 lbs with that big blue weighing in at 79.6! They took 2nd place for total weight and 2nd biggest fish. Chase Henderson and William Bradshaw caught and culled several fish including Chase's new PB with his 67.4 lb cat and had a great weigh in with a total of 138.8 lbs for a 5th place finish which qualifies both teams for the championship! Congrats to all who came and supported our local trail, and also to Mike Mitchell and Rick who brought in the biggest fish at 90.9 lbs and the record total weight in our local trail with a 203.2 lb total!

A big way to go!!! And a congratulations to emma on a 31 lb blue tonight. Teaching kids and their enjoyment of fishing is what it is all about.
