I have enjoyed sewing for my friends in central Illinois for the past 8 years. Although I will miss everyone, hubby and I are moving to SW Florida to the land of shuffleboard and afternoon margaritas! Thanks for the memories!

Sometimes, the weather is so beautiful, you have to take the sewing lesson outside. Addi finished hand stitching her bear together while sitting in the swing on the deck.

Here is the surprise Shelby made for her mom. Mom loves it and Grandma wants one too. Shelby is going to be a busy little girl. Not bad for wit years old, huh?

Last week I finished this pile of bears for a new customer. Her sweet brother passed away way too soon. She asked me to make bears from his polo shirts as a remembrance for her family. Each and every one was prayed over as they were sewn. I hope they bring much comfort to her and her loved ones.

My sewing student, Shelby has a big surprise for her mom for Mother's Day! She did a great job and I bet her momma will love it.

My newest sewing student, Shelby and I are kindred spirits. She wants to make a quilt for everyone she knows. Here she is practicing her technique at the longarm. She's a natural!

My sister recently returned, reluctantly, from a beach vacation. She has decided she comes alive at the beach so I made her a quilt to celebrate her discovery.
She loves it, her puppy Flint loves it and I'm very happy!

A lady from church posted her daughter's drawing on her page. I thought it was adorable so I decided to make a doll for her from the drawing. It was a very fun project and the little girl loves it! If you have a special drawing, I'd be happy to bring it to life for you!

Here is my newest quilt for my bed. I still need to make pillow shams but I think I like it.

My sewing student, Addi has a new baby cousin so she decided to make him a quilt. She even used my longarm quilting machine to quilt it and she put the binding on by herself. The binding is often difficult for adult quilters but she did it like a champ. Not bad for nine years old.

My customer, Loretta wanted a bear for her son. Hope he likes it!

Latest commissioned quilt - strips of flannel shirts sewn together randomly, backed with flannel. Perfect for a chilly dorm room. She loved it!
