👕 Shirts
PK–4th Grade: Hunter Green, Yellow, or White polos/button-downs
5th Grade: Burgundy or White polos/button-downs OR Hunter Green, Yellow, or White polos

👖 Bottoms
✔️ Khaki or Black
✔️ Pants, shorts, skirts, skorts, or jumpers

👟 Please Remember:
❌ No Crocs
❌ No slides or thong sandals
❌ No ripped jeans or torn shorts
❌ No spaghetti straps or see-through clothing
👖 Fridays: Students may wear jeans (without rips, tears, or designs) with approved non-uniform attire.

🐝💚 Exceptional Education Week at The Lane💚🐝

Today at Canby Lane Elementary, learning came to life in the most unforgettable way! Our scholars had the opportunity to engage in a hands-on farm experience—meeting goats, chicks, and more while learning about animals, responsibility, and the world around them.

This experience was especially powerful as we celebrated Exceptional Education Week, highlighting the brilliance, joy, and unique strengths of all our learners. 💫

🌟 Did you know? Research shows that interactions with animals can significantly benefit students in exceptional education programs. Animal-assisted activities have been linked to improved social skills, reduced anxiety, increased engagement, and even enhanced communication—especially for students with autism and other learning differences. Simply put, animals help our scholars feel safe, connected, and ready to learn!

Moments like these remind us that learning doesn’t only happen inside the classroom—it happens through experiences, relationships, and joy.
