Here's a little something that I wanted to share with everyone! Pictured here is the marquee at the Fulton Blvd Drive-In from back in the 60's! The Fulton Blvd Drive-In Theatre was located on Fulton Industrial Boulevard in Atlanta, GA. This was a short-lived drive-in that only lasted from 1962 to 1971. Now an industrial park sits on the property. When the Fulton Blvd closed in 1971 this same sign was then moved to the Scott Drive-In in Decatur! When the Scott closed in 1977 this same sign again was moved once more to the Gwinnett Drive-In that was located in Norcross, GA! This image is from Alonzo Jeter's photostream on flickr...Enjoy!!!

Hi everybody! Glad your enjoying the site! Just want to touch base to let everyone know that I'm still trying really hard to locate some ground shot images of the Scott Drive-In's newer marquee from the 70's! This newer marquee stood at the Scott from 1971 till the drive-in closed in 1977. Pictured here is a color drawing of this marquee. When the Scott Drive-In closed in 1977 they actaully moved this sign to the Gwinnett Drive-In that was located in Norcross, GA. I've got some actual ground shot photos posted of this marquee when it stood at the Gwinnett Drive-In. This sign looked almost identical to the Glenwood Drive-In's marquee! This color drawing was done by Chris McLaughlin. His website is www.chrisdraws.com. If anyone can help out with locating any actual images of this sign when it stood at the Scott it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and enjoy the site!!! Administration

Hello everybody! Glad your enjoying the site here! I need a favor from anyone out there who can help out with this request. As you know I've been posting different images of the Scott Drive-In through the years. I'm trying really hard to find a ground shot image of the newer marquee that was at the Scott Drive-In from the 70's! This newer marquee stood at the Scott from 1971 till the drive-in closed in November of 1977. This is also the same marquee that was moved to the Gwinnett Drive-In after the Scott closed. Pictured here is this same sign when it stood at the Gwinnett Drive-In! Again looking really hard for a ground shot image of this sign when it stood at the Scott! If anyone has any old Decatur area high school yearbooks from 1971-1977 that might have an image of this sign when it was at the Scott that would be wonderful!!! Or if anyone out there has any connections with the family who ran Storey Theatres that would be really cool as well!!! If worst get's to worst I'll even accept a ground shot photo of Scott Blvd with this marquee off in the background! :) That's how hard it is to find an image of this! Anything anyone can help out with will be greatly appreciated! Also any images that might be found can just be scanned off and posted in the fan photos section of this site if you wish! Thanks!!! Here's a neat landmark that I'm sure alot of people remember from the Scott Drive-In! Pictured here is the little mansion that sat out behind the marquee there at the Scott! This little building was actually a storage shed where they stored the letters to change out the marquee. This photo was taken around the 50's or so. Thanks to Helen Talton for finding this image also! Enjoy!!!
