If you haven't heard... The team from Taiyo recently opened Salaryman just southwest of Decatur in East Lake. Many of the staff you loved are there, so stop on by and say hi.

After a wonderful 5 years at Taiyo, we will be closing our doors at the end of the week. Our final day of service will be Saturday, June 29th. Although, we are sad about closing, we are truly appreciative of the support from all of our guests, the City of Decatur and the Decatur community.
We thank all of our amazing staff who have been essential in making Taiyo special over the years. Rest assure that we have placed all of them within other Korean Wives Hospitality Group Restaurants.
5 years ago when we first opened our doors, we were the first restaurant ITP which served Craft Ramen every day. Today, ramen is available everywhere in Atlanta and that thrills us. We even started this crazy idea of The Atlanta Ramen Festival which supports Giving Kitchen and continues to grow yearly, happening again for the 6th time this fall.
It has been an honor to be a small part of so many people's lives - from weddings, birthdays, dine outs, and other fun celebrations of life; to just serving people their first bowl of real ramen. If you miss us, you’ll find our ramen & buns at Suzy Siu's Baos in KSM and Ramen Station in Grant Park or stop by Son of a Bear across the tracks in Oakhurst for our awesome Korean food.
We will miss this place and the people that filled it. We will have normal operating hours for the rest of this week; serving dinner Thursday, then both lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday, June 29th. We look forward to celebrating with all of you so come on by for a final toast, bun or bowl. Cheers!
