Now that my weekly preorder is over, it’s time to start thinking about and prepping for Mercy Market this weekend!

I’ll be set up and ready for you by 8:00 am.

In these you’ll find a mini loaf, jumbo cinnamon rolls, ch chip cookie, oatmeal cream pie, and one EXCLUSIVE market only item.

Last weeks exclusive item was a blueberry muffin oatmeal cream pie. 😋

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that tagged local businesses in my “surprise a local business” post. There were over 90 comments supporting local businesses, and that’s amazing.

Because of all of you I had the opportunity to meet the lovely ladies from Park City Manufactured Housing Community and Jodi Luvv with SoulSmoothies LLC! The boys picked the number 23, and comment #23 had SoulSmoothies tagged, so they received one of the surprise boxes! I texted ahead for the smoothies and they were ready when we got there! They’re on Pershing now, so check them out!

Both businesses were so welcoming and genuinely grateful. Seeing their reactions reminded me why I love being apart of this community. Supporting local businesses doesn’t always have to be a purchase- sometimes it’s as simple as a tag, a share, or a word.

Thank you all for helping spread a little kindness around Macon County. ❤️

🚨 Preorder Menu is LIVE! 🚨

Not one to make it to the market? This week’s preorder is for you!

I’ve got a great lineup this week, including the return of my Brioche Buns 🍔 Perfect for cookouts, burgers at home, or even ham and cheese sandwiches (my boys’ favorite way to eat them!).

And because the bakery boxes have been such a hit, they’re making their way onto the preorder menu! New to Mama Bear? This is the perfect way to try 5 of my most popular items all in one box.

Ordering is open now through Tuesday at noon.

📍 Pickup is Wednesday. For those who are new around here, pickup starts around 2:45–3:00 PM, and you’re welcome to stop by anytime that afternoon that works for you.

While Mama Bear Bakery didn’t take home Best Overall Bakery this year, being named a Favorite is something I’m incredibly proud of.

This past year has been full of early mornings, late nights, lessons learned, and a whole lot of hard work. Like many small businesses, there have been challenges along the way—but today I’m choosing gratitude.

Thank you to everyone who voted, placed an order, stopped by the stand, shared a post, or supported my little bakery in any way. Your support means more than you know.

I’d also like to share this recognition with the small bakeries across Macon County. Running a bakery takes a lot of heart, sacrifice, and hard work, and I know so many local bakers show up every day and give it their all.

Here’s to the businesses that keep going, keep growing, and keep choosing community over competition. The ones who support others, celebrate each other’s wins, and continue showing up every day.
