The basis of Wholistic Movement and Wholistic Wellness is "any amount." Move, any amount. Breathe deeply, any amount. Stretch, any amount. Do your personal work, any amount. Doing something is better than doing nothing, though often we get into black-and-white thinking that has us believing that if we don't "do it all" it's not good enough. That's just not true. Can't do a full page of personal work? Can you do one paragraph? Can't do 20 minutes of meditation (and, really, who can?), do 2 minutes. Can't do fancy breath work? Do 1 minute just focusing on your inhale and exhale. Can't get comfortable with prayer? Simply say "thank you". Any Amount is always just enough.

In September, we’ll explore viveka—the practice of discernment, as a progression of our August series on Satya or learning to see more clearly. Through gentle movement, breath, stillness, and reflection, we’ll practice noticing what is true, what is needed, and what we can release. Rather than searching for the “right” answer, we’ll create space to listen more deeply to the wisdom already present within us.
