Well y’all… here we are, Wednesday mornin’, that halfway mark where the week starts feelin’ like a long gravel road stretchin’ out in front of you.
I’ve been meanin’ to hop on here sooner, but mercy… life at The Rooster has been busier than a rooster chasin’ sunrise.
Business has picked up in a way that makes you stop, breathe, and whisper a thank‑You under your breath. We’ve been blessed beyond measure, and with that blessing comes a whole lotta work behind the scenes.
I’ve been spendin’ more time inside the restaurant makin’ sure every corner is tended to, every station is runnin’ smooth, and every person on our team feels supported.
We’re trainin’ folks left and right, movin’ people around, teachin’ new roles, and bringin’ in fresh faces who are ready to learn the rhythm of this place. So if you walk in and see us movin’ around like we’re rearrangin’ the whole barn — well, we kinda are.
But it’s all for y’all.

I may not get to share a story every day, but I’ll do my best to hop on here a couple times a week and keep y’all updated. Your patience, your support, your love — it’s the backbone of this place.
We are so blessed to be part of this community, this little corner of the world where folks still believe in showin’ up for one another.

Lawd have mercy, Monday didn’t just arrive this mornin’—it come struttin’ in like it had its shirt tucked in, clipboard under its arm, and a whole list of business to handle before the coffee even finished perkin’.
I swear I laid there for a minute starin’ at the ceiling, negotiatin’ with myself like two tired raccoons fightin’ over the last biscuit. But then that ol’ rooster—bless his loud, opinionated soul—started crowin’, and you know how he is. Once he hollers, the day is officially underway whether you’re ready or not. So here we are.
And since we’ve got new folks wanderin’ in like curious deer peekin’ out the tree line, it’s time for one of my every‑so‑often “let’s clear the air before somebody gets confused and starts askin’ me where the hotbar is” posts.

Our Menu — It’s pinned right up top on Facebook. Printed. Plain as day. Scroll up just a smidge and there it is.

Hours & Address — Google’s got it. Facebook’s got it. If you don’t fool with social media, just call us. We answer the phone like civilized folks.

How to Order — Now listen… The Rooster ain’t like most places. No matter who you are or what you came in wantin’, you gotta come to the window past the cash register to place your order, or you can call it in and we’ll try our best to have it ready for you. That’s the system. It works.

Menus Everywhere — Whiteboard menu. Register menu. Wall menu. If you can’t find a menu in here, you might need to sit down and drink some sweet tea ‘til your vision returns.

Your Experience Matters — If you ain’t happy, what’s the point of us unlockin’ the door?

Parking — Yes, sugar, there is parking in the back. Pull through the gate, come in the porch door. Easy as slidin’ cornbread out of a cast‑iron skillet.

Cook‑to‑Order Food — If you order somethin’ that has to be cooked fresh, it’ll take a few minutes. And the busier we are, the longer it takes to get your food on that grill. That’s just country math.

We’re movin’ folks through as fast as we can without sacrificin’ correctness. I’d rather you wait an extra minute than get home and realize your collards ran off with somebody else’s pork chop.
