Life is complicated. We want to help.

If you think God’s love for you rises and falls based on your performance, this week’s message might be worth a listen.

As Andy Stanley reminded us, we often overestimate our ability to influence God’s love and underestimate the depth of His grace, mercy, and acceptance.

There’s still time to catch up on The Matter With You before we wrap up the series this Sunday. Listen on Spotify or watch here: https://decaturcity.org/messages/the-matter-with-you/no-say-in-the-matter

The parking team member who hugs you before you've even made it inside.
The first-timer at the guest services desk.
The friend who shows up early just to grab you a seat.
Different doors. Same church.

This is Decatur City!💛

Ocean Adventure is underway in Waumba Land! 🌊🐢🐠

This summer, preschoolers are learning just how much God cares for them alongside friends like Turbo the Turtle, Joy the Jellyfish, and Bubbles the Blowfish.

Parents, be sure to check out the Conversation Card and Verse of the Month resources to keep the conversation going at home:

We can’t wait to dive into this adventure together all summer long! 💙

Dads show up in a thousand different ways.

With advice when we ask for it.
With help when we don’t.
With patience, humor, and a steady presence through it all.

Today we’re grateful for the fathers and father figures who have shaped our lives.

Happy Father’s Day.

Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day marking when the news of freedom reached enslaved people in Texas, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

A day that marks freedom, celebrates resilience, and reminds us of the dignity and value of every person.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn from the past, celebrate progress, and continue building a community where everyone is seen, known, and loved.

What if the thing you've been avoiding is actually an invitation?

An invitation to step in.
To take responsibility.
To do the next right thing, even when the situation around you feels messy or out of your control.

This week's message reminded us that Noah wasn't responsible for rescuing the world. He was responsible for being faithful with what was in front of him, and God handled the rest.

The final week of Under Clear Blue Sky was a powerful one. Catch up on Spotify or here: https://decaturcity.org/messages/under-clear-blue-sky/embracing-responsibility

And join us this Sunday as we kick off a brand new series, The Matter With You.

After-church summer hangs at Decatur City ☀️😎

This Sunday we sang 🎶

• Good Plans
• Promises
• The Blessing

And while we love the music, sometimes the best part of a Sunday isn’t something that’s on the schedule.

Sometimes it’s the conversations afterward. Catching up with friends, meeting someone new, or staying a little longer than you planned.

Those moments matter too. 💛

InsideOut Daytona is almost here! 🌊☀️🏖️

Every summer, this week becomes a highlight of the year for so many students. Five days of worship, small groups, beach time, friendships, late-night conversations, and memories that last long after everyone gets home.

If Daytona is on your calendar this summer, don’t wait too long, registration rates increase at the end of this weekend on June 15. ⏰

July 20–24 is going to be here before we know it, and we can’t wait to head to the beach together! 🌴😎
