Color Me Father is an out-spoken advocacy for the equal rights of both parents.
We are a 501-(c)-3, tax exempt, non-profit organization, which advocates placing the needs of the children first in all maters where the breaking up of the family is concerned. The facts dictate that in many cases, when a man has proven himself as an excellent father and the obvious best parent suitable for custody, the courts rule against him. More often than not, the father is scrutinized by the
courts in a far more intense manner than his female counterpart. While there are still many of us that refuse to admit it, in our hearts we know it is true that the courts and their antiquated laws hold the belief that the mother has an automatic, God-given right to custody - no matter how terrible of a mom she has already proven to be. On the other hand, we at Color Me Father will be the first to say that there are some "dads" that don't even deserve the right to be around their children, let alone be granted custody. We are absolute blind to the s*x and gender of the parent which is represented by us, and have taken a solemn vow to not represent any non-custodial parent who remains in arrears in their child support payments. We are totally committed to "what's in the best interest of the child!"
Our organization is in a constant struggle to find ways and means by which we may assist and support these deserving families. It is the fervent belief of us here at Color Me Father that moms and dads who are estranged spend so much time arguing, fighting and trying to see who can dish out the most pain to each other until they forget all about how much pain they are causing their children. And as a result, many of the kids who become "victims" of these domestic wars become angry, self-destructive and delinquent.
