Reach Out Bro
ReachOutBro is a mental health awareness page focused on men’s mental health and suicide prevention!
One conversation can change a life.
Not because it magically fixes depression. Not because anxiety disappears overnight.
But because someone finally realizes they're not carrying the weight alone anymore.
Sometimes people don't need advice. They need someone willing to stay long enough to hear the truth.
Be that person.
Strong people cry.
Strong people ask for help.
Strong people survive.
Weakness isn't speaking up.
Weakness is pretending you're okay while you're falling apart.
If nobody has told you today...
I'm glad you're still here.
Now keep going.
The world doesn't need more people pretending to be okay.
It needs more people willing to be honest.
Because honesty gives other people permission to stop hiding too.
That is how healing spreads.
One person at a time.
Keep fighting.
Someone you've never met will someday need your story.
Monday Reflection
Today I took some time to reflect on the mission of this page, and I had a few conflicting thoughts that I feel need to be shared for the sake of transparency and clarity.
DISCLAIMER: I am not a therapist, mental health coach, life coach, or anything of that nature.. and I probably never will be. I don't have the education or qualifications to be those things. To be completely honest, I don't think I'll ever pursue that path. Where I am in life right now, I simply don't have the time or the energy.
With that being said...
I have been through my own battles, and I will continue to be myself because that's one thing I'll never sacrifice. I will never fake my life, my responses, my comments, my thoughts, or my opinions for someone else's approval. That's fake, and I'm not fake.
I'm authentic, and I'm proud of that.
Because of that, there will probably be times when I say the wrong thing. I may unintentionally hurt someone's feelings, encourage someone when they actually needed silence, or stay quiet when they needed encouragement.
The truth is... I don't know you personally. I don't know your experiences, your feelings, or what you're carrying. I can't read minds.
What I can do is be myself.
Sometimes that's too much for people, and that's okay. Just know that I will never intentionally say or do something to hurt someone or make them angry. That has to be understood, because just as I don't know you, you don't truly know me either.
So let's have a clear understanding.
I'm doing what I do in the most positive way I know how because it not only brings me joy, but I truly believe it can bring hope to others as well. That's my mission.
I'm not always going to have the perfect words, and I'm okay admitting that. I won't pretend to have all the answers just to make someone feel better. What I can promise is that I'll always show up with honesty, compassion, and authenticity. I'd rather be real than rehearsed, because I believe genuine connection helps people more than empty words ever could.
One last thing...
If something I've said has ever offended you or hurt you in a way I didn't understand, I'm sorry. Please tell me.
You're not going to hurt my feelings.
Just understand that people will have different opinions, and that's okay. I've spent the better part of the last four years learning not to let other people's opinions change who I am as a person.
Thank you for listening to my TED Talk.

Guys, I have 186 of you that are supporting me and that is AWESOME! You may not see 186 and think "man this guys is going somewhere" or "what a HUGE following" BUT for me its the stepping stones to what I would like to accomplish with this page. It's never been about the followers. It's about the message! It's about helping ONE person that needed it. It's about changing the outcome of the scary statistics that make up the mental health and su***de world. I want change. I want freedom from what ever you're dealing with. I want to make a difference. That's the mission and IM SO THANKFUL you are along for the ride.
