We organize, coach and support competitive robotics teams within the City of Decatur. Our group is made up of over 100 students within the City of Decatur.
Decatur Robotics is an elementary, middle and high school STEM organization based in Decatur, GA devoted to supporting robotics teams. We aim to increase student interest in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) fields. We're kicking off a year round electronics drive to help a local nonprofit, the Afghan American Alliance of Georgia. Donate your used electronics to help Afghan refugees in your community! We're accepting applications to join our middle school FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) competitive robotics team. This team is limited to 7th and 8th graders. We're currently giving priority to girls so encourage your daughters to check us out.
Practices are Mondays after school at Decatur High School (students walk over from Beacon Hill Middle School). In addition to regular attendance at practices, members are also required to attend meets Saturday mornings starting in October.
