2015 was a crazy year for me. Definitely one of the more challenging ones. By chance, my roommate had a too many contracts going at once and asked if I could pick up an art installation. This is how I met Leisa Rich. She not only gave me work, she invited me to be in a show, and became my friend.

Just before COVID made the news Leisa started working on gallery space of her own. Like many neat laid plans, COVID stole the spot light and only a few very lucky persons were able to visit her gallery.

One thing I can honestly say about Leisa is that she is a force of nature all her own. She inspires me both creatively and professionally. Leisa’s ability to see through the static is as lovely as her work. Where other’s see a wall she sees a step, or a canvas to alter.

I must admit I teared up leaving Leisa Rich standing in the all-white space once filled with so much color. There are three little letters in pink just outside the door under her name. They say it all - art.
