A season of loss, renewal and growth. As fire energy rises, the purifications as well. When I zoom out, I recall there’s something on the other side, however, in the moment, it’s a practice to use all the tools I have. One is going outside.

I planted 5 Peonies a couple seasons ago and 2 are now blossoming for the first time. Nature reminds me of patience and timing. Also, I get a lot of support, thank you (you know who you are). Furry faces say so much. 😹

One of the deepest joys that has gotten me through (next to writing!), is a spiritual energy practice that has helped to restore my faith in a power greater than myself and within myself and is based upon experience. If interested, I’m hosting a free, easy, fun, local event May 2 in Nashville, TN at Wildheart Meditation (love them). A few of us are offering complimentary sessions of Light Energy. The past six days I’ve been graced by this gentle giant Luigi, who is curious why I’m in his home. That’s because my home has been without electricity & heat for 10 days.

While I am also curious, it’s allowed me to reflect upon things I appreciate such as warm showers, connections and pancakes!

In this situation, I see a handful of miracles (personal & communal), such as discovering a faulty pipe in the wall behind curtain, bonus days with family leading to growing intimacy (into-me-see) + neighbors helping each other and showing consideration, stepping outside of comfort zones, etc.

I think we can all see that opportunities for growth are abound!

Today, I am deeply thankful for arrangements to stay empowered even without power. 🙌 (full disclosure, a work in process)

A beautiful experience today worth sharing. A spinet piano, once gifted to me, got gifted to a young talented musician, born without eyes. I had made a video of myself playing it today “Be A Friend” - one of the many songs written on this lovely instrument and received a video of him playing 💝 Grateful for Wendy for arranging. Also, have I mentioned, “Be A Friend” Now Streaming 🌟

I am grateful for you near, far & behind the scenes that have contributed to my growth, health, discovery and beyond! Too many to mention. Includes everyone! Thank you!
