Decatur Park District Horticulture

The Decatur Park District Horticulture Department produces and maintains plants for our parks, gardens, golf courses, Decatur Airport, and Scovill Zoo.

The Decatur Park District Horticulture Department produces plant material in our greenhouse for our parks, gardens, Decatur Airport, golf courses, and Scovill Zoo. We also maintain several landscapes throughout the district, including Fairview Formal Garden, Fisher Rock Garden in Nelson Park, and Scovill Park. In our conservatory at the Schaub Floral Display Center, we feature a living display each season, and hold several plant sales each year.
