We’re so excited to celebrate our ten year anniversary with all our current and past clients! Come join the fun this Sunday!

In case you are not aware, there are proposed cuts for services to children and families that would be devastating to many. The majority of the children seen at On Target receive Medicaid benefits (including CMOs/PeachCare for Kids) which covers their medical care as well as their therapy needs. If families lose their Medicaid, they lose their access to physicians, specialists, equipment, hospital care, not just therapy. Additionally a lot of our families receive WIC and food stamps to help with nutritional needs - formula, milk, groceries.

Several child and family advocacy organizations are working to prevent these cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, and other critical programs

Change, packing, construction: nothing is easy about moving an office. For over 2 years we have been in the process of moving. Our small home on McConnell Drive was conveniently located next to a park and a library. It was warm and homey, small but well used. It was going to be hard to replace.

We quickly realize though that we have the best and most dedicated therapists and families. We owed it to our staff and our clients to find a location that would put the quality of our space in line with the quality of our therapists.

There were so many setbacks along the way. While we won't get into them here, it was a long and tenuous project. Yet these past 2 days watching our therapists do their magic and listening to the squeals of joy from the children as they zip down the zipline, run up the slide, or race through the new cave has made us see how much this move, and all the hard work that came with it, was worth the effort.

We look forward to growing with you in our new home and hope that you will find your new commute worthwhile. Don't worry, we are still next door to a library :)
