Words cannot express how thankful we are to everyone that was a part of our Su***de Awareness Walk last night! We are deeply moved by the stories and memories that were shared and the wonderful community support that was given!

Thank you to each person that ran, walked, volunteered or just came to show support, you each made a difference!

Thank you to Matt Kirk for your gift of music, to our guest speakers, photographers, and to all of the great organizations that showed up to show how they help others!

Another special shout out to our community partners the Disabled American Veterans Ch. 70 Decatur, TX for all of the tables and chairs, and to Cook Children's Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas for donating all of the water and goodie bag snacks! SU***DE AWARENESS WALK 2026 Event Timeline

Bring your lawn chairs and plan to spend an evening with us filled with connection, remembrance, encouragement, and HOPE. 💜🩵

6:00–6:30 PM | Early Check-In
Arrive early, get checked in, and get ready for the evening.

6:30–6:45 PM | Check-In & Gathering
Complete check-in, receive your Honor Beads, customize your walk bib, and take some time to visit our community resource tables.

6:45 PM | Welcome
We’ll officially welcome everyone, share a few event details, review the walk/5K route, and highlight the resources available throughout the evening.

6:50 PM | Walk & 5K Start 📣
We’ll line up our 5K participants first, followed by walkers, and kick things off with the blow horn!

6:50–7:45 PM | Walk • Run • Connect • Encourage
Walk or run, cheer on our finishers, visit the food trucks and resource tables, and spend time connecting with one another.

Relax, enjoy the evening, and listen to live music by Matt Kirk. 🎶
