Today, Calhoun Community College was proud to host the June Alabama Community College System Board of Trustees meeting and welcome Chancellor Jimmy Baker and guests from across the state.

With 24 community colleges in Alabama, there's always a little friendly competition between us. But we're all part of the same team, working to serve our students and communities.

So, while everyone was on campus, we decided to have a little fun! Check out this special video featuring college presidents giving a shoutout to their mascots.

A new chapter in healthcare education is coming to Calhoun!⚕️

Beginning Fall 2027, Calhoun Community College will offer a new Radiologic Technology Program, helping meet the region’s growing need for skilled diagnostic imaging professionals.

From advanced simulation labs to real-world clinical training, students will gain the experience needed to step confidently into the healthcare workforce.🩻

Competing against thousands of the nation's best career and technical education students, Calhoun's team of 35 competitors brought home an impressive 15 national medals.
