DECATUR, AL Decatur High School and Decatur High Developmental School will be closed Friday due to a power issue.

All staff members are to report to Austin High School.

A power line was cut during construction work on Thursday and the school is without power. . .

Tomorrow, September 23rd Decatur High School will host a College/Career Fair for our Juniors and Seniors. Juniors will attend from 9:00 to 10:30 and Seniors will attend from 10:35 to 12:15. Our fair will take place in the large gym!! Juniors and Seniors please make sure to be at school tomorrow!!

Decatur High School - please take note. . . the date for our 2016 Graduation has been changed to Tuesday, May 24. Ogle Stadium is still our location for graduation!! 😊

Decatur High School's 2016 graduating class meets for a discussion about ordering graduation invitations and other memorabilia. Order day is Thursday, September 10, 2015. Orders will be taken during ALL lunches!! Ask your Senior about all the details!!!

Attached you will find a copy of the Decatur High School schedules for Thursday and Friday of this week. Thursday students can attend the school play during 4th block for $5.00. Friday ALL students will be dismissed at 12 noon. The afternoon will find teachers having a Professional day!! Hope everyone enjoys their Thursday and Friday!! 😊

Decatur High School will host our annual Curriculum Fair, Thursday March 12th from 6:30-8:30 PM. . . Parents please report to the cafeteria at 6:30 to hear about the new schedule for next year! After this short meeting you will move to the large gym to visit with the Decatur High School faculty and discuss all the exciting curriculum choices your student will have to pick from for the 2015-2016 school year. . . See you there!
