SUMMER SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Meet Charles Pitman
Charles Pitman received his bachelors degree in Sociology from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama and attended Birmingham School of Law. In 2008, he founded Charles G Pitman Attorneys at Law, LLC and quickly built it into one of Alabama’s largest and most successful personal injury firms. After a major personal crisis and several years of restlessness he began seeking an exit from his law firm. In 2019, he enrolled in seminary and began transition his firm to its new owner. He is currently working on his Master of Divinity degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and is preparing for God’s call on his life.
He is married to Christie Carter Pitman and they have four children- Millie, Sam, Ben, & Chandler and they reside is Decatur, Alabama. He is passionate and loves helping others grow in their influence and to become successful in life and business.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and travel.

SUMMER SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT 👏🏽

Meet Ressa Chittam
•
Ressa Chittam is beginning her fifth year as principal of the Excel Center and second year as principal of the Career Academies of Decatur. She is a 1991 graduate of East Lawrence High School and a 1996 graduate of Athens State College. In 2004, she received her Master’s degree from the University of North Alabama. In 1997, Ressa began her teaching career at Austin high school where she taught social studies for ten years and served as assistant principal for nine. In 2001, she was selected as Decatur City School’s secondary teacher of the year. She is a member of the Decatur Lions Club and serves on the board of the Decatur City Schools Foundation. Ressa is married to Heath Chittam, a 1990 graduate of Austin High School and 1995 graduate of Samford University School of Pharmacy. He is a pharmacist at Limestone Drug. They have one child, John Lawrence, who is eleven. The Chittams attend Central Park Baptist Church in Decatur.
