Breakthru House
While most “long-term” treatment programs last only 28-90 days, Breakthru House offers both housing and clinical treatment for up to 18 months.
As the first long-term residential recovery program for women in Georgia, Breakthru House is designed to meet the unique needs of women struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. For 45 years, Breakthru House has served as a place of hope for low-income women in need of treatment for substance abuse—empowering them to achieve physical, emotional, and spiritual healing through recovery. Our comprehensive program is uniquely tailored to meet each client’s needs.

GRADUATION DAY!
Please join us in celebrating Amanda, Lacey, Danielle, and Christine, four incredible women who just graduated from the Breakthru House program!
Each of these ladies has shown up for themselves, done the hard work, and walked through recovery with courage and grace. Watching them step into this new chapter is exactly why we do what we do.
Amanda, Lacey, Danielle, and Christine, we are so proud of you. Your strength inspires everyone around you, and we can't wait to see everything you go on to do.
Congratulations, ladies! You did it!
Meet Charity Stanton!
Charity brings so much heart to our Therapeutic Childcare (TCC) program here at Breakthru House!
Charity works alongside our youngest clients' families, helping create a safe, nurturing space for kids while their parents focus on recovery.
Meet Asher!
Today we sat down with the grandson of our executive director, BreNita Jackson. Asher is a friendly face around campus who the staff and women have grown to love. He was super excited when he heard he could be part of an interview!
Stay tuned for more Meet the Team posts and interviews with the four women who are soon to graduate.

Many beliefs about addiction are rooted in stigma, not science. Swipe to learn the truth behind myths that keep people from getting help. At Breakthru House recovery begins with understanding.

Meet the most 'Fly' woman on campus Jackuline Fly.
The work Jaqueline does goes far beyond the walls of a session room. She walks alongside women through some of the hardest chapters of their lives, and she does it with intention, compassion, and purpose. In this interview we get to know the person behind the profession and what keeps her rooted in this mission day after day.
Meet Deon (most know him as Coach). This week we sat down with Coach, our Fitness Director, for a conversation that goes far beyond the gym. In this extended interview, Coach shares what brought him to Breakthru House, what keeps him showing up for the women we serve, and why the work he does here is about so much more than physical fitness.

This is what recovery looks like.
These are women who walked through our doors carrying something heavy and walked across our graduation stage having put it down. Not because it was easy. But because they refused to stop.
Every graduate of Breakthru House made a decision at some point that changed the direction of her life. She asked for help. She showed up. She stayed. She did the work nobody outside these walls fully sees.
We do not take lightly what it costs someone to get here. We do not take lightly what it means when they do.
Congratulations to our graduates.
