🚨 Realtors: Condo deals are about to change—BIG.

Starting now:
• No more owner-occupancy requirements
• Streamlined (easy) reviews are going away
• More condos will need full review = more documentation
• HOA budgets must be stronger (10% ➡️ 15% reserves)

👉 Bottom line: fewer quick approvals, more scrutiny, and deals could take longer to close.

The president has directed Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to buy up to $200 billion in mortgage bonds to ease mortgage costs. This plan aims to nudge mortgage rates lower, which should help with affordability as long as the rest of the market cooperates! This won’t be a silver bullet, but still could push rates down into the upper 5’s.
