Reminder:

Booster Meeting today at 6:00pm at the Meigs County High School library

This is the first meeting of the new year. All parents/guardians encouraged to attend.

Congratulations to our band members that made the Star Honor Roll and A/B Honor Roll. We are so proud of your hard work!

Hey band! Rookie Camp starts in 2️⃣ days! Rookie Camp is for all new members, band leadership team, and colorguard. Camp runs 9am - 1pm on Monday, June 1st - Thursday, June 4th.

Students need to bring:
- a water jug (filled with water) 💧
- a snack 🍌
- sunscreen 🧴
- a hat and sunglasses 🕶️
- their instrument 🎺

Students need to wear athletic clothes (no jeans) and sneakers! 👟

Students can be dropped off at the Meigs County High School Band Room starting at 8:30 am.

Remember: To be early is to be on time, to be on time is to be late! ⏰

As we go into another marching band season, we’re bringing back our "Feed the Band" initiative for the 2026 season! This program would provide meals for our 35-40 student musicians during band camp, game days, and competitions. We’re asking our amazing Meigs County community to help us fuel our band students! Whether it's a home-cooked meal, pizza night, or a catered drop-off, your support will make a huge impact.
We're grateful to those that supported our students at band camp last year and hoping we can provide meals for our students throughout band camp and during the fall semester.

Calling all middle and high school athletes! It’s time to get cleared for the upcoming season. Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 4, 2026, for free sports physicals hosted by Starr Regional Medical Center.

We can’t wait to see all of our prospective guard and percussion members tomorrow! Don’t forget to stay for the meeting at 6:00!

Marching Band is around the corner! If you are wanting to join the band this year, be sure to mark these important events on your calendar!

This Tuesday at 3:45, we will have our last open spin and drumming sessions for colorguard and drumline at MCHS. No experience is needed to attend or join these groups! Wear comfortable clothes and bring water.

After the sessions, we will have our mandatory marching band meeting in the MCHS Band Room. All students planning on being in band or colorguard are required to attend with at least one parent/guardian. We will give an overview of the marching band season, discuss the 2026-27 band handbook and band camp, and introduce ways for students and parents to get involved in the program.
