I've lost over 200 pounds, and I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to start over, stay motivated, and navigate all the ups and downs that come with changing your health. Hello, my dear friends! If you are still following my page, I wanted to give you an update. I will post more soon. Right now I'm on a wellness trip in Iceland. I’m currently in Italy on vacation and heard about the passing of Juanita Healey. She was someone that I considered a mentor as well as a friend. She worked so hard and never stopped. She loved what she did. I recently told her that after I closed my business. I saw her drive and knew I made the right decision because I no longer had that drive. She was a treasure to Decatur and will be greatly missed. My condolences to all of you that are missing our friend today.

I took my daughter to Taylor Swift then Disney and was able to get her 3 days out of school excused. Life is short. Go to the concert.

ANNOUNCEMENT: I have been away from the shop for a few months while my family and I moved to a new home. During this time, I reflected on my 28 years in coffee and the last 4 at my shop in Priceville. I have decided that I am ready to retire from the business. I will no longer be baking or taking orders. I have my space until the end of August, so I will be packing and selling off some of my things. I have enjoyed getting to know you and the past employees at the shop tremendously. Thank you for being part of my journey!
