🏀 Summer Basketball is Back! 🏀

Hey parents! Get ready to lace up those gym shoes—our summer basketball season is officially kicking off!

This is a fantastic opportunity for the kids to stay active, sharpen their skills, and hit the court with their friends in a fun, supportive environment.

The Details:

When: Every Thursday starting June 11th

Time: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Where: Dennis Lab School

Who: Any boy going into 5th-8th Grade

Whether they are looking to work on their jumper or are brand new to the game, all skill levels are welcome.

Our Monarchs had an amazing Field Day! K-5 stayed on campus and enjoyed stations organized by Mrs. Daykin. 6-8 went to the DISC for dodgeball, roller skating, laser tag, and basketball! ARA provided a fun cook out style lunch for us! What a great end to the year!

Hello Dennis Lab families, this is Keith Creighton, Assistant Principal.

I wanted to reach out with a final thank you to our students, families, and staff. Some of you may have already heard, but I have accepted a principal position in the Clinton School District for next year and will be leaving Dennis Lab School.

Over the last 14 years, I have been incredibly proud to be part of this school community. Together, we have experienced so much growth and change—from expanding into middle school, to navigating multiple campuses, to continuing our work in project-based learning and helping students build resilience, independence, and the BIST life goals that make Dennis such a special place.

This decision was not easy because Dennis has truly been a family to me. I have watched my daughter grow up here from Kindergarten through her first year of college. At the same time, I also want to recognize the incredible educators and staff members who continue choosing Dennis each day and continuing this important work moving forward.

Thank you for your support, your partnership, and the opportunity to work alongside your children over the years. I will always be cheering Dennis on and wishing this community continued success in the future.

Former Dennis Lab School students who are graduating seniors we want to honor you! Please plan to attend our Senior Walk on Wednesday May 13th! Arrive at 8:45 AM! We are now located at 300 Meadow Terrace!

TOMORROW is our DLS Learning Showcase! Come out from 5:30-7:00 to see the fantastic projects our students have been working on! The students voted on our free refreshments- what will they be? We can't wait to see you!

Parking will be tight- please be mindful of our neighbors. We will be running the shuttle from the Maranatha Church parking lot.

We are so thankful for our 3 wonderful administrative professionals. They keep the office - really the entire building - on track and running smooth!
