September 5 meeting with guest speaker Steve Ivory, District Governor

This week, District Governor Steve Ivory shared some exciting updates: 📌 Podium Banners Have Arrived – Clubs that ordered them will receive theirs soon. 📌 District Governor Nominations Open – For the 2028–2029 Rotary year. Clubs must pass a resolution to nominate, with interviews scheduled for November 1st. 📌 Club Visits – DG Steve had a full week visiting Polk County, Vines, Cumberland, East Cobb, and Dunwoody! On August 1 we welcomed, Alex Urban | PGA Tour Championship, Atlanta

Alex Urban is the Executive Director of the TOUR Championship in Atlanta, an annual professional golf tournament organized by the PGA, which also raises money for local community organizations. The championship takes place at the East Lake Golf Club. Mr. Urban received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Clemson University, and a Master of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Georgia. Equipped with a background in communications and marketing, Alex utilizes his passion for storytelling to manage relationships with the championship’s sponsors, generate community impact for local nonprofits, and grow the event in all areas.
