About the owner, Taika Howard, as a certified massage therapist, a graduate of Georgia Medical Institute, Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork’s program in August 2004; is a licensed massage therapist. Her training includes but not limited to Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, range of motion, sports massage, chair massage, hot stone and cold stone therapies, pre-natal massage, infant massage, geriatric massage, lymphatic drainage, reflexology and various body treatments. As independent contractor’s and employee’s, the staff at Pressure Pointe Massage Studio have had the opportunity to experience working in a variety of settings from Five Star properties, day spas, medical facilities, mobile service to the basic membership spa. In addition to enthusiasm, they are detail oriented; bringing to the massage industry their collective experience working in customer service. Their continued efforts to stay learned in the latest trends and techniques in the massage/spa industry have allowed them to develop and maintain the high standards of a professional massage studio. Pressure Pointe is a private studio located in the tranquil city of Pine Lake, Georgia. Pressure Pointe provides clients with an array of therapies according to the individuals “Personal Development Program” that is designed accordingly to meet the needs of each client. Pressure Pointe menu of services include:
• Swedish Massage: Also known as western or classic style of massage, the therapist uses light to medium pressure and soothing touch to increase circulation and decrease muscle spasms. GREAT for relaxation!

• Deep Tissue Massage: Deep Tissue massage is a stronger and deeper massage, below the superficial muscles. Deep Tissue massage helps identify, reduce and break up adhesions between muscle and connective tissue. Deep Tissue is better for someone who receives massage regularly or muscular built.

• Athletic Massage: Also known as Sport Massages, this type of massage stimulates the muscles with a vigorous push/pull method; stretching and range of motion movements are incorporated to restore mobility to sore or injured muscles. Excellent before or after sports activities.

• Hot Stone Therapy: This ancient healing art brings relief to tense muscles, sore joints and a weary spirit. The warmth of smooth, heated basalt stones combined with the expert touch of the massage therapist to melt away stress and tension. An extraordinary experience

• Reflexology: An ancient, Oriental method of massage applied to pressures points on the hands, ears and feet, which correspond to specific parts of the body. This technique promotes balance and releases tension, your session is enhanced with warm herbal foot treatment.

• Mommy to Be Massage: This soothing experience serves to renew and revive the Mommy to Be as the therapist performs a full body massage to specifically address the discomforts of pregnancy. • Head Massages / Shoulder Massages: (30 minute session) This gentle, non –evasive treatment improves the cranioscral system where the brain and spinal cord function. You will experience light touch and gentle holding technique that will assist with muscle and energy blockage.
