We own 10 acres in Eastern Tennessee, which is where we are building our homestead. We are in the process of building our homestead to become as self sufficient as possible. We will be posting gardening, food prep, building and construction. We will be posting content from pages we follow and also our own as we continue to grow and learn what we are doing. I walked through our upper 5 acres to see how many trees came down in the last couple of storms. So on my way back down decided to record some of the fallen trees on the lower 5.
Ok people need keep their animals in there own yard. I might have to keep it...lol
Little by little trying to turn our covered porch into an enclosed room. That is where I cook and do dishes. Once we build the deck on the long side of the building, this will be a mud room.
Very unhealthy coyote, that has possible mange. No hair on its tail.

It's snowing in Decatur TN
It feels weird to watch winter storm coverage. I would look at the weather in Michigan where my son is. But never actually sat and watched the coverage. Right now just getting rain and supposed to be in the 40°. So hopefully no freezing on the roads or tree damage.
