We’ve put together something out of this world for you guys this month. While everyone is celebrating (or dreading) back to school season, here at the book nook you can get a little escape and check out our new display table. From encounters of the fourth kind to your favorite candy-loving extraterrestrial, we’ve pulled some of the best alien themed movies and merch we could find, and hopefully you’ll find something you’ll be over the moon about, too.

We’re bringing the fun of Saturday morning cartoons straight to you with our new monthly display! You can relive watching reruns of Rocky and Bullwinkle over a bowl of cereal or see your favorite nunchuck-wielding turtles save the city one more time. No matter what your go-to classic was, we’ve got a little of everything for you here. From Transfromers and ThunderCats to beloved Hana Barbera characters, so stop by before the table changes again!

A new month means a new display, and this month it’s time to celebrate an amazing community that has given us so many amazing stories and people. Don’t worry, we pulled some of our favorites for you already. No matter which letter of LGBTQ+ you represent, you are welcome here at Book Nook.

This wonderful mom brought not only her son but her mother, too, into the shop for their first time. And we are glad to report that everyone left happy and with some new reading material. Book Nook has always prided itself on being a family-friendly place to not just shop but to spend time together. No matter what your age is or what generation you’re apart of, we have something here for everyone, even if that something is just spending some quality time with your friends and family.

Book Nook will be open regular hours on Memorial Day tomorrow! So stop by for some comics, books, or a good movie to watch with your family and friends this holiday.

A new month means a new display! This month we are celebrating Star Wars in honor of May the 4th (and Revenge of the Fifth). We had so much cool stuff to show you guys, we had to expand the display this time. Whether you’re part of the Empire or the Rebel Alliance, you can find the droids you’re looking for here.

Only a few days away from Free Comic Book Day! Stop by this Saturday (May 3rd) for a pre-bagged bundle of comics. There’s 10+ in each bag featuring some of your favorite superheroes and stories.

Attention book lovers!! We’re having a sale! If you’ve ever made it back to our Isle of Sale, you’ve probably noticed just how many we have been accumulating. So, it’s time to get rid of the old to make room for new stuff. The sale will run till the end of May, so stop by and fill a basket for a great deal.
