DMYF hits Denton for a night at the movies. 🍿

Youth (6th-12th grade), meet at the MAC at 5:30 this Sunday evening (7/26) for dinner before we head to the movie theatre 🎥 🍿!

High ho! High ho! It's off to work they go!! These miss guys have worked very hard in the heat and have knocked it out of the park! Doing our churches proud! Please continue to pray for them!

No such thing as "hardly workin'" with this crew! We did get a very good start tearing off and replacing siding. We have been able to provide lots of material for this job. All had to be unloaded and a large trailer load of trash was hauled to the dump. We hung new insulation and will be actually blowing some in the attic tomorrow. We are working on flower beds and yard as well. The woman that owns the house came out and said she could not water flowers so nothing would grow. We found some cactus and succulents and will be planing those tomorrow and painting the main house sides that were replaced by the previous group.

Mission trip is coming fast!! TODAY is the last day for sign ups!We will be gone June 17-23rd. We are headed to San Angelo to help a flood victim rebuild for 3 days. We will be at Sierra Vista UMC then headed to San Marcus UMC to work at a Homeless Shelter one day and help the church with some housekeeping. We are planning a stop for something fun in between still TBD and float the river before coming home. There is still room for all ages! If there is 12 years of age or younger they will need an adult to accompany the. The cost is $300 per person and that will cover the basic costs of the trip and TODAY June 1st is the dead line!
