See our new exhibit-“One Family… Three Visions,”showcasing works by professional artists Douglas, Susan, and Jennifer Diehl. Each of these artists have different stories that helped mold their unique personal styles but they also have a shared journey and a common passion for the painted word.
Meet the artists at their exhibit reception on Friday, May 29th from 6-7:30pm.
✈️ Traveling through Huntsville International Airport this holiday weekend? Take a moment to explore the art on display!
Stop by the Carnegie Artway to view “ABC’s of Black History,” a powerful exhibit featuring influential Black men and women who shaped American history. Through a traditional flashcard-style series of paintings, artists Daphne Burgess and Milton Bowens bring history to life in an educational and inspiring way. The exhibit is located on the second level of ticketing.
While you’re there, don’t miss the Community Artwall in the breezeway above baggage claim, featuring the vibrant mixed media work of local artist LaKelle Brawley.

Join instructor Lennie Flowers for a fun and creative week of art exploration! Campers will learn foundational techniques in drawing, painting, 3-dimensional building, and more while stretching their creativity through engaging, hands-on activities.
Students will build skills, experiment with new techniques, and bring their artistic ideas to life in a supportive and exciting environment.

Middle School Camp Carnegie 2026 - Carnegie Visual Arts Center July 13-17, 9:00 am-12:00 pm Learn basic techniques of Drawing, Painting, 3 Dimensional Building, and more with instructor, Lenny Fowler! Campers will be immersed in activities that stretch their creativity while having fun and learning how to put their knowledge and new techniques into practice.
