We did not have anyone compete on Day 2 of USA Track & Field Youth Nationals, but we did have three athletes compete today. Congratulations to Sara Reed Thompson on her 🥈 in the 13-14 y/o 800m Finals! Owen Confer and Jack Lamp ran the in 2000m Steeplechase, and that event is always chaotic with the water pit jump and barriers around the course. Owen finished 5th in his age group in his first ever attempt at the event , and Jack took 9th in the 17-18 y/o age group.
Tomorrow is the last day of competition and we will have Owen, Sophie-Paige and Andrew competing in the 1500m. Good luck Raiders!
