Smokin Hott Pistol

It was a super good day at Rocking L Ranch! Luis worked the three Pistol babies he is starting and they were all three stellar!! We are excited with how they are progressing.... Then went right into breeding season mode with three ranch mares to check today...Luis was batting 1000, with all three positive results. Pistol just viewed the activities from his stall with that "I told you so" confident look. Gotta love days like today!

Congratulations Kellie Cahill on another precious Pistol filly!! She is SO CUTE. Wonder if she will be grey?? The bottom of the legs sure could signal that.❤️ Doesn't matter, she's pretty special.

Another flashy Pistol stud c**t born this morning. This time of year is so much fun.❤️ Gotta love that Pistol/CD Olena cross!

First baby of the season for Pistol. He's a cutie!! Momma is a CD Olena/Freckles Pl***oy mare.This is her first foal, she was a little early, but did FANTASTIC.

The Vitamin lick supplements are great, BUT....Pistol is like a kid with a melted chocolate bar all over his face. (And body) 😅🤣😂

Pistol's precious little girl "shortcake" got her official AQHA papers finished today. She is a Grey filly- and right now she is as round as she is tall. (kinda like her Daddy was, maybe more so) I think she is as cute as a bug. Her AQHA name is Huggs- named after her dam's grandma- Clarks Hugme. She is going to be really feminine like Clarks Hugme.

Red Hot Dixie Chick (Emily) is 25 this year, so this definitely will be her last baby. She has earned her retirement for sure. Emily was our "go to" horse for years... everyone's favorite to ride, she could do everything well in AND out of the arena. This is her last baby "Chick With A Pistol"- a 2025 filly by Smokin Hott Pistol. She's just like Emily...in your pocket people friendly. I sure will miss riding Emily, but she is now officially a pasture ornament.
