It was a Dove, Inc. day for us! Our studio donated 27 Coats for Kids and a few of us volunteered for Christmas Care and Share soarting and counting gifts. Tis' this season for generosity. Our town always gives in a big way to both of these programs and The Dance Centre is always proud to participate.

A few us were able to participate in the Walk the Walk yesterday to learn about the network of services available to the nearly 200 people facing homelessness in our city. This was an opportunity to suppprt bringing awareness to and to experience a little bit of what its like to be out on the street in the cold, reliant on these services. Thank you for participating in our Halloween bake sale. With your donations we were able to raise $350 for the Decatur & Macon County Animal Shelter Foundation in honor of Jenni. A few of us were able to visit with the animals today. Please consider adopting!

Thank you to our dance family for helping us raise funds for women and children who need shelter in our community. Thank you God's Shelter of Love for the informative tour and all you do to take care of those in need. We were honored to support this great organization. 👀 Peep photos in the comments of our Monday night dancers who raised the most money and celebrated with a Christmas party!

It was a privilege to give them a tour of both houses and share the impact of their support. Thank you for being part of our mission!

We had our last meeting of the 2023-2024 season planning our final activities for the year, preparing our Officer nomination slate for the next season, and spending a beautiful afternoon outside doing our annual trash clean up. We can't believe year 6 is coming to a close!

Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered in support of The Angel Fund. We were able to raise nearly $2,000 to help pay dance tution for families in need and serve meals to over 70 local first responders. We would also like to congratulate Adelynn Reed for being our top seller with 40 sales! Way to go! 🎉

We were thrilled to host the Tweens their own special event last weekend! We invited them out for a Hollywood themed dance party that kicked off with a runway show. These girls are full of personality and creativity. They had so much fun strutting their stuff, taking photos in the photo booth and dancing their socks off! Thanks for partying with us girls💃

We visited New Life Pregnancy Center this week to give our bake sale donation of $200. They gave us a tour of their store where moms spend their points that they earn from classes they take in preparation for their new baby. Thank you to our dance community for supporting this important local organization!

Last month we were busy! We raised $200 for New Life Pregnancy with our valentine's bake sale and had two internal fundraisers selling teacher socks and hosting a Parents' Night Out event. Thank you studio family for supporting our efforts in giving back to our community! Keep an eye out for more fun still to come this season!
