We got to see and cheer on a bunch of our favorites in the Decatur Homecoming Parade! 💙

Volleyball this evening for the teens, followed up with worship time, hearing a personal testimony and small groups!
Teen class starts at 6pm every Wednesday night!

Southland Christian ministries in Louisiana provides a great week away from the world where teens can really encounter Jesus, bond with other teens and enjoy the great outdoors. We have some phenomenal bakers in our congregation— please come by! 🍪 🧁 🥧

Gospel life teens had a blast at the spring break cookout this evening!

In teen class we continued in our book “Do hard things,” tonight especially we discussed the low expectations of what society has for our “teenagers.” Your teens have been encouraged to rise to the occasion, and I will encourage you to raise the expectations you have for your teens, they will live up to whatever your expectations are. They are made for MORE 🙌🏻

Every teen in class this evening raised their hand when asked if they felt like could and SHOULD be doing more.

The youth group started working on their 2024 vision boards in class this week!

The need to be dropped off Friday evening or Saturday morning by 8.

We had the BEST time in teens this evening!

✔️Pizza 🍕
✔️Rock paper scissor battle 🪨 📄 ✂️
✔️A fun game of telephone, to demonstrate how rumors get started.
✔️Then the human knot… we succeeded 1/3 times 😅

If they say they didn’t enjoy it… they’re lying— everyone had a blast!

This Wednesday! Back to school celebration, Pizza provided by the Eatons. We can’t wait to see y’all there. This will be during our normal teen meeting time from 6:30-7:30ish.

Teen event! Quick lesson about temptations and the choices we make, pizza, s’mores, and a lesson around the fire about how God forgives us of our sins.

Reminder: Teen Bible study/dinner THIS Sunday @ 5pm at the Newburys house! Also, encourage your teens to reach out to others to collect coats/jackets for their coat drive!
