It’s finally February, and there’s no better time to show some love to our church library! ❤️📚

All month long, you can bless our library by shopping from it’s wishlist and helping provide books and resources that support not only the families in our church, but also the parents and children from our wider community who visit throughout the year.

The Library will be closed WEDNESDAY because of road conditions. Hope to see you next week!

Due to icy weather and hazardous road conditions, all services and activities at First Baptist Decatur are canceled tomorrow, January 25th. We will also close the church office on Monday, January 26th.

The safety of our church family is our top priority, and we encourage everyone to remain at home. While we will miss being together, we encourage you to take this time to rest, spend time in prayer, and worship as a family or individually.

📚✨ Storytime Hour is BACK!

We’re so excited to welcome families back next Wednesday, Jan. 14th, at 10:30 AM for Storytime Hour! Join us for a fun, engaging morning filled with stories, books, crafts, and plenty of smiles. This is a relaxed, joyful time for kids to learn, create, and connect—and parents too!

Kirk Cameron has teamed with Brave Books for a series that instills moral values in children. These books have been flying off our shelves. New ones added this week!

Yesterday this new book was placed on our shelf. Allison came in, took the book, went home and made cupcakes (and decorated them). Love this girl!!
