Her exceptional negotiation skills will ensure that your real estate transaction will be a wise move! Her goal is that every transaction be a win-win, and as smooth as possible. Jo's commitment to education has resulted in several designations including Accredited Buyers Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate of the REALTOR Institute, SRES, and Internet e-PRO certification. Jo is a lifetime member of her local boards Top Producers Club and was the 2003 President of her local WCR Chapter, earning the 2003 small Chapter of the Year Excellence Award. She was the recipient of her local boards “Realtor Spirit Award” and was named Member of the Year for both her local and state Women’s Council of REALTOR® s chapter in 2009. Jo was the 2013 REALTOR of the Year for her local association. She has served on her local Association’s Board of Directors for seven years as well as State Director for the Georgia Association of Realtors for six years. Jo has been involved in Women’s Council of REALTOR®s for many years and currently serves as the 2014 National President. Jo has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art History degree from the University of Northern Colorado and did post graduate work at Parson’s School of Design in New York City. Jo and her husband Steven have been married for 39 years and have two beautiful pets; Spinner, who is a Kerry Blue terrier and their rescue, Stella, a frisky Jack Russell terrier. When not selling homes, Jo loves to garden, fish, and read, and travel is her favorite way to spend time and money!
