Too many Georgia families have been hit with multiple rate hikes in a single year on car and home insurance. This is unfair, and it is time for a change.
I am Larry Johnson, and I will fight for a Georgia Insurance Customers’ Bill of Rights that protects you.
Families work too hard to have their budgets wrecked by unfair insurance practices.
My program puts the customer first by ensuring:
- Advance Notice: You deserve at least 60 days' notice before any rate increase, with a clear explanation.
- Transparency: Insurers must show you exactly how your rate is calculated.
- Loyalty Protection: Long-time customers should get safeguards and discounts, not penalties.
- First Claim Forgiveness: Your rates should not skyrocket after a single incident.
- State Oversight: The Georgia Insurance Commissioner must stop unjustified increases.
The voter registration deadline is April 20, 2026, with early voting starting on April 27, 2026, ahead of the Democratic Primary Election on May 19, 2026.
