We would like to congratulate Kevin on his first solo on this cold, snowy day. He has been putting in a lot of work and is making great progress with his instructor Carter.

Our club clean up day is going great, we couldn’t have asked for better weather.

In 2015 club member John Dixson gave this young man a ride in our 1940 J3 Cub and today he became the Decatur Aero Club's newest CFI. Congrats Carter Oliver - Well done!

It's been a busy winter for the Aero club this year. Our Cessna 172 had a new engine installed in December, and our 182 is in the shop waiting on the delivery of its new engine this coming week.

Congratulations to Owen for recently making his first solo flight. He is working hard to finish his PPL requirements!!
