Decatur High School Men's Basketball

This past Monday, we received a call that no coach ever wants to receive and no parent should ever have to endure…one of our players, Lance, had suffered a stroke.

Since that moment, we have been incredibly grateful to see the prayer warriors rise up on behalf of Lance and his family. The love, prayers, encouragement, and support that have surrounded them have been incredible.

But we’re asking you to keep praying. 🙏🏾

May this be a moment where the army of God rises up, stands together in faith, and makes our requests known before the Lord!

We are praying for complete healing and restoration over Lance. We’re praying for God to guide the hands and decisions of every doctor and nurse caring for him. We’re praying for continued recovery, renewed strength, and supernatural peace to cover Lance and his entire family every step of the way.

There is POWER in prayer, and we believe God is the greatest physician! 🙌🏾

Kingdom family, let’s continue to cover Lance and his family in prayer. 🖤💛🙏🏾

Join us for our first Basketball Booster Club meeting of the year!

Eagles finished 3-2 against some really good competition in the Summer State Tournament, but more importantly, they competed and played together. Saw a lot of growth, guys trusting each other, communicating, and competing every possession.

Tough, together, and getting better every time they step on the floor.

Back to to work Monday to get ready for TABC! .

Eagles go 2-0 to open the Summer State Tournament with wins over Lufkin Hudson and Dumas.
