Richard Allen Hubbard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Allen Hubbard on September 7, 2026 at the age of 69.

Allen was a proud member of Meigs Lodge #213 F.& A.M. and the Chattanooga Carpenters Local #74. He was a lifelong capenter, but was skilled in many types of work. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His favorite things to do were woodworking and traveling. He was baptized in Christ on July 22, 2025. Most of all, Allen loved his family and put them first before anything. He is a man that was loved by many and will be missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Joann Hubbard.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Helen Hubbard; daughters, Sherry Jo (Scottie), Shonda (Keith); son, Jason (Jessica); grandkids, Justin, Lynsie (Austin), Aubree, Casey, AJ (Ciara), Amber, Emily, Joshua; great grandson, Archer; brother, Jimmy (Becky); sister, Sherry (Frank); several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, in the Beta Cemetery. Justin, AJ, Joshua, Derrick, Keith, and Scottie will serve as pallbearers.

Marcus Dylan Jolley

Marcus Dylan Jolley, age 31, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Marcus was known for his passion for gaming, riding motorcycles, photography, and his love for music, both listening and playing. His adventurous spirit and creativity will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He was loved by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd Jolley, Charlsie Burnette; great grandmother, Gladys Thurman; uncle, Darrell Jolley.

He is survived by his parents, Greg and Robin Jolley; love of his life and fiance', Kallea Lashea Robison; sisters, Angel Jolley (Jaylon Johnson), Shanna Jolley (Michael Mrkvicka); brother, Lukas Rockwood; grandparents, Robert and Charlotte Vandergriff; several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and other extended family and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., prior to the service.
