So sad to hear of the passing of my beloved guitar building master/instructor. Gary never lacked the patience needed to deal with my excitement and intensity in school (10 years ago), and he’s a huge factor as to why I’ve made 30-40 guitars to date and get the luxury of touring with a world renowned band fixing guitars. Gary helped oversee literally thousands of guitars being made in his school over the years. What a contribution! Safe travels, G! Forever grateful!

Life these days is madness, and the phones don’t help. Heading back to hiding and gonna stick to guitars and happy stuffs, like seeing my great pal playing a guitar I’m very proud of, and can’t wait to make more (if he lets me).

Very proud to present my contribution to the guitar world. Prototype #1 features a hand carved mahogany body with curves and access in all the right places and string through body, an extremely figured birdseye maple neck and fretboard at 25.5” with a medium profile flat back neck, f spaced imperial in the bridge, RWRP lipstick in the middle (ultimate quack), and single coil in the neck - all controlled by a 5 way rotary for a strat set up, master volume and tone on 500k linear pots for full sweep of sounds.

This guitar kicked my ass, Red Foreman style, for a whole year. I signed up for a lot of custom orders in my time of acquiring the cnc, thinking it’s just “plug in a file and send it.”

I don’t know how many of you have ever been wrong before, but I’m pretty familiar. Fortunately I’m stubborn, and have an incredibly supportive family and friends who push me to never give up.
