We’re Hiring — Built on Integrity

Integrity is the foundation of everything we do.

It’s the trust we build with our community—by being honest, fair, and consistent in every interaction.

This is more than a job. It’s a commitment.

🎓 Today, we proudly celebrate the graduation of our first D.A.R.E. class with Decatur Public Schools #61! 🎓

Over the past several weeks, students have learned valuable lessons about making safe and responsible decisions, building confidence, handling peer pressure, and choosing healthy paths for their future.

D.A.R.E. graduates were honored to have Chief of Police Brad Allen speak during the graduation ceremony, sharing words of encouragement and recognizing the hard work and dedication of each student throughout the program.

D.A.R.E. is more than a classroom program—it’s about building trust, strengthening our community, and empowering young people to make positive choices both now and in the future.

We are proud of each and every one of you and look forward to seeing all you accomplish. 👏💙

We’re Hiring — Strong Women, Stronger Department

Policing takes dedication, resilience, and heart—and the women of our department bring all of that and more.

They serve, lead, problem-solve, and show up for this community every single day. Not because they’re women in policing—but because they’re great officers.

Because capability isn’t defined by gender. It’s defined by commitment, character, and the willingness to serve.

If you’re ready to challenge yourself, support your community, and be part of a team that values what you bring to the table…There’s a place for you here.
